Every child is unique and in order for that individual’s needs to be met a teacher must tailor his/her instruction. There are many ongoing social forces and challenges we face in our schools today. There has been an increase in the growth of school population, cultural and linguistic diversities, and an increase in the number of students who are at risk for failure. A change in attitude, commitment, knowledge, and skills are necessary to meet the educational needs of diverse learners and are key factors in determining the success and progress of all students. They must work to deliver instruction in ways that meet the needs of auditory, visual and kinesthetic learners. If an individual is presented and can make use of an array of different techniques, skills, and strategies that match their ability levels, then they will have a much better chance of reaching their goals. This success will motivate them to learn and discover more! A foreign concept will now come to life with the help of this iPad. I have been using my personal cell phone to show videos and pictures to help my students acquire background knowledge of what is being taught. It is very hard for all of them to see on my phone, this iPad will make a huge difference!
