We are working on becoming not only smarter, but healthier in order to feel good as adults! My students need basketballs to participate in a community service project for the American Heart Association, Hoops for Heart. If my kids are able to have enough basketballs to participate in Hoops for Heart, they will not only participate in raising awareness about the number one cause of death for both men and women globally but will learn how to make wise choices for their own hearts. After all, 80% of heart illnesses are preventable with just a few lifestyle changes!

About my class
