In my classroom, students have many technology programs that they can use to meet their individual learning needs. However, much of the technology in my classroom is outdated, and we don't have enough for all of my students to have enough access for the programs to work effectively. Many of my students do not have technology at home and therefore, don't get to use these beneficial programs on a daily or even weekly basis. These Chromebooks would ensure that students have the chance to learn on their individual levels, while also working on fine motor skills as they learn to navigate the touchpad and/or mouse. My goal is to eventually have on-to-one technology access for each student in my classroom so that they can have the opportunities they need to meet their learning goals.
