Students will be empowered with the ability to use printmaking as a new platform of creativity. Through the use of Gelli Arts print plates, we can approach this new style as a class, and elevate our knowledge together. I also will encourage students to learn how to carve easy cut linoleums to develop their own stamps and designs. This unit of study will open up students' abilities to create through printmaking, some incredible multi-media works of art in their sketchbooks as well as on large substrates. These expressions will expand their breadth of knowledge and their ability to share the story visually with the audience. I want to give the students the power to create.

About my class
