My students are currently working on functional and work related skills that they may be able to use once they are out of school. I believe that it is now time for them to take the next step in their learning. After a discussion with my internal coach, principal and consultants, we determined that we would like to put together a coffee cart for our students. With this cart, the students would practice the functional skills that come with making coffee (in a Keurig) and also increase their social skills by selling coffee to the rest of the teachers and staff at our school. By doing this I am also hoping to increase some awareness for my students, and showcase just how amazing my kids are.

About my class
