My students need books that are engaging and inspiring. I chose books that would be relevant to the students in my classroom. I need to provide my students with books that spotlight strong female characters, as well as characters from different cultures. These types of characters are a reflection of my students. I want to provide titles that will allow my students to read about children whose lives are not unlike their own so that they may understand the world around them a little better. If you chose to support my project then I will get one step closer to putting some fantastic books at their little fingertips.
