My students range from freshmen to seniors. Our school is an arts based school where students select a major within the arts before they enter as 9th graders and spend 2-3 periods a day in that art form, both in the theory and the practice. My students are film majors. They spend two periods a day creating videos they develop themselves and then an additional period every other day studying the history and theoretical and critical side of film through the study of great films, filmmakers and theorists.
