These videos and books will help me teach the 1st and 2nd grade students how to understand other peoples feelings. The two puppets Max and Minnie that are in the social skills kit will help us when we practice and talk to each other whether we are going over different scenarios and other play roles. The videos will also help them with knowing what to do when they are upset or even excited about something. Social emotional skills teach them how to calm down. It tells them what empathy means, introduces them to bullying and how to handle bullying, and it also shows them how to play and socialize with their peers. These supplies will help my students be successful in school and also out in the real world. I'm hoping with theses skills they will be able to teach other kids as well.
