Reading is an essential skill in life and reading intervention can be fundamental for many students to find success and be better able to achieve in academics. The items I have requested will allow students to have a comfortable space that has alternate seating besides your basic desk/chair set, and an alternate variety of book selections. With their new reading space and seating options, they will be encouraged to work together to solve problems and explore concepts together. I will not limit them to only the people sitting around them but the entire class will be able to explore 21st Century Learning skills together. My hope is to form a cohesive group of students working together to become the best students they can be. I want to provide choices to allow for student success. I hope to start a story time,and even have the upper grade students to read a book to the group.I dream for it to be a organized and comfortable place where children feel safe and can escape in a book,and have a love for the world of Literature.
