These convertable desks are a chair with an arm that can be used or put away if it's not needed. This will allow my students to have more space in my classroom and help them feel more connected to each other because we can set up the chairs in any way we need to. Bulky desks don't let us do that. If needed, they can bring up the arm and use it for a desk. There are many times a "desk" isn't needed and having a comfortable chair would make my classroom and my students feel more like at home and help us all transform our furniture into whatever position is needed for learning.
