Let's face it-first graders can be WIGGLY! My classroom is in need of some flexible seating items to help with excess energy while allowing students to be comfortable and productive. I am requesting the following items: 2 large bean bag chairs, which are perfect for independent reading and writing with a clipboard, 2 wobble chairs for students with special needs, and 5 plastic stacking stools to be used for small group instruction. Flexible seating in the 21st century is the way to go! These exciting options will create an enjoyable learning environment that is customizable to each students' needs, whether it be ADHD, autism, or just in need of a different seating option to focus. Plus, a variety of seating options creates a warm, welcoming environment that is so needed for my students to succeed!
