This year my main focus was to use technology in the classroom to help my students become better readers. They have made so much growth in their reading levels and and have become avid readers. I am fortunate enough to have Chromebooks in my classroom. My students value the laptops and take good care of them because they use them to read amazing online books. At the beginning of the year I asked my students to purchase headphones that can be used along with the Chromebooks. Many of my students were unable to purchase headphones. A majority of the students who were able to purchased headphones bought low quality headphone or earbuds that fell apart after a few uses. My students are very responsible with classroom materials and I know that these donated headphones will be well taken care of. We look forward to using comfortable headphones to listen to our inspiring and fun books.
