We are half-way through the school year, and we need some supplies to make it the rest of the way. Our pencil sharpener is broken and our markers are all dried out. Students need some inspiration and motivation to be engaged learners. We will use the Sharpie markers for science and math projects. Students will use laminating supplies to learn and review Chinese vocabulary flashcards and to write books in Mandarin. Writing books in Mandarin will reinforce my students' understanding, increase their use of Mandarin vocabulary, and encourage creativity. It will give them opportunities to share their language skills with their families and the school community.
