Do you remember your favorite book as a child? Well, most likely it was read to you when you were at school. I would like to give my learners the chance to figure out THEIR favorite book by having many different classic books in our classroom. I would also like to make reading more fun by having puppets involved in reading, which allows children to retell the story in a fun and engaging way. Reading aloud is one of the most important things a teacher can incorporate into her classroom. Reading aloud introduces the kids to new vocabulary, expressive reading, and the joy of reading. I would like to demonstrate how reading can be fun by having many different and interesting books.
