This year is the first year first grade has participated in our schools accelerated reader program. We have a small quantity of books available for first graders to read and take tests on in our school library. However, we have been working extremely hard to meet our goals each nine weeks. We have spent all free time at home and at school reading books in order to meet these goals. Our classroom library is very small and we are having a hard time finding books that have not already been read and tested. These books will be a great addition to our growing library.
