My students need to have a classroom library that is an inviting, comfortable place to sit, explore, and enjoy books. If the classroom library is a cozy area, children are more likely to want to sit, read and talk about their books. The more they practice their oral language, social and reading skills, the more developed their skills will become. The Modular Seating Cushions and bookcase I chose would enhance our library so that 5 students could sit comfortably and focus more on the books. The bookcase would be an excellent way to display and store books. Currently, we have a worn preschool couch that only seats 2 students and baskets to store books. Clearly, we have a need for a more inviting and comfortable classroom library. My students really deserve a beautiful, comfortable place to enjoy books and develop their oral language skills. Please help me fund this important project. With your help, we can make a difference in my students lives.
