These materials will make a huge impact on my fifth graders' lives! With the 2020-21 school year, there are many unknowns and lots of changes that can come at any time. These unknowns can cause fear in students and teachers alike! Students have to feel safe before they can learn. I want to be sure my students can feel safe at home and school to start the learning process! Safety sparks learning and learning ignites a flame that changes students forever! These materials will be used both at home and school, depending on whichever situation is deemed to be safe by our district. The purpose of this project is to help students have individual supplies and protective equipment to slow the spread of germs, but fan the flame of learning! We will use these tools to increase technology integration and engagement with exciting read-aloud stories and virtual field trips! We will be able to individually work out problems and erase with ease on our dry erase covers. These tools will help protect my students and teach responsibility by sanitizing, keeping tools organized in pouches, and providing much needed individual supplies.
