These materials will make a difference in my student't learning because it will provide them with books to read! Many of my students do not have books at home to practice reading. I would like to be able to read aloud to my Special Education students and have them follow along, right now I am just reading aloud to them. We have a "book room" at the school but other teachers have often checked out the good books! I would also like my special education students to be able to silently read, to practice that skill. I am a first year teach however, and do not have the resources to fully stock my room with books for them.
