The requested items will motivate my students to come to a small group or to seek a quiet place within the classroom to work independently through flexible seating. My students do not enjoy sitting at their desk for a long extended period, but flexible seating will give them the opportunity to move around the classroom. The math resources will allow the opportunity for them to learn through hands-on, engaging activities. Also, the math materials will allow my students the opportunity to socialize and work with their peers to create and solve standard based math problems. I have always wanted to have flexible seating options for my students to use in the classroom, but I could never afford to buy them on my own. My class is looking forward to adding flexible seating to our classroom.
