The "stand-up desks and stools" will allow those students that need the movement to focus on learning. These desks will help a variety of students for different reasons such as...ADHD, autism, behavioral, etc. Not all students stay on task sitting at a desk; the stand-up desks and stools would be an option for those that don't. All students deserve to learn in their own way. I feel it's my responsibility as their classroom teacher to try to provide them with the tools that would give them the opportunity for success. Meeting a child's needs can make a difference!
