There is a kind of magic that happens to a child when they receive a brand new book of their own to keep. A good book can truly change a child's perspective about the world and help them to understand that their potential is limitless. These books will help my students' cognitive development, help them to develop empathy, and improve confidence. My students often do not have books to read at their level in their homes and libraries have been closed during this challenging time of remote learning. If they receive copies of this book, Holes, we can read, discuss and grow together!
