Students will use the Scholastic Vocabulary Life Cycle readers to learn more information about different insects and their life cycles. They will be able to learn the different vocabulary words associated with the insects and each stage of their lives. Students will be using the Chromebook to do research on different types of insects and their life cycles, characteristics, and habitats in the world around them. Students will also use the Chromebook to collaborate together and creative insect presentations on Google Classroom to share with their peers using their research. Our classroom will be using the insect habitats and equipment to go outside to find and gather different insects and bugs that are local to our area in order to analyze them. They will also be raising ladybugs to observe their amazing life cycles and the books on insects will be used to do further research and identification. Having these tools are necessary for the students to explore, research, and observe amazing insects!
