Since my students are students with disabilities, they need extra support in reading and writing. Having access to headphones and headsets will allow them to work more independently while showing their knowledge in the class. These technological supports will provide the assistance needed for my students to have equal access to their education regardless of their disability. It is important that my students feel empowered by independent learning. The assistive technology that I am ordering with be an avenue to helping them learn and work towards independence in the classroom.
