In an inner city school where supplies are limited, and student home funds are even more limited, it is important to me, as a teacher, that I am able to provide basic materials and resources to my students in the classroom. It is my goal to provide not only the best classroom education as possible, but to also provide life skills and a welcoming environment that allows students to feel comfortable and free to be themselves and learn to their fullest potential. My students are active hands on learners. They enjoy learning from interactive learning sites as well as whole class demonstrations and experiments, projects and group activities. These students have taught me so much as an educator. I have learned what helps them learn, and how to present information to them.
