Have you ever wished you could have played an instrument? Or did you ever start playing and wished you stuck with it? Today you have to chance to change a child's life. Students all of the United States are begging to play more instruments in music. Today is the day we can transform the way music students learn by allowing students to play ukuleles in school. The ukulele is an incredible instrument that allows students to not just learn how to read chords but can show the students the progress of how compositions work. The students this project would touch are in need of more than just playing triangles and Orff instruments. They need to learn how to bridge music to instruments that will allow them to grow into adults with real talent. The ukulele is just a stepping stone to a multitude of options. Who knows, the next great guitar player or violinist might be sitting in a classroom somewhere.
