We lost tens of thousands of dollars worth of horns and equipment in the Harvey floods of 2017. Our school cannot afford to replace our equipment, but our students deserve to continue learning and engaging in music. We're currently sharing equipment with the high school band, but that becomes very difficult when we're competing at different contests on the same day and students can only practice one or two at a time (at most). We're slowly trying to replace our equipment, not necessarily with the high end things we had, but with quality that will allow our continued musical growth for our students. My students need a new concert snare drum. We had two very nice Pearl Philharmonic Snares that were lost in the Harvey Flood.
