Our students come from homes that struggle to provide them with new supplies each school year. This program requires that our students have different folders for reading and math to help them stay organized. Also, storage bins so they can keep their stuff in one place. We require plastic folders because we attach color-coded schedules to each folder so the students can better transition groups. Our students need supplies to help them gain better skills which include reading! Making words is a great program that allows students to physically manipulate letters to make and change words. This builds phonemic awareness and phonics at all levels. We need a lower level (kinder) and upper-grade level (4th) to help meet the needs of ALL students.
