My students will be able to access apps that reinforce skills and enable higher level learning. IPads help students who are kinesthetic, auditory and visual learners open up the doors of education and individualize their learning experiences. The iPad will become a tool that will help create more authentic learning experiences in the classroom as well as build twenty first century skills that our children need in order to be successful in a quickly evolving technical world. My students will be able to work in stations with the iPads and headphones, writing, reading, learning phonemic awareness skills, working with math manipulatives and more. They will receive adaptive technology while waiting in the progress monitoring or I.E.P. process. They will be able to create both independent and collaborative projects in order to show true understanding of concepts. Technology is a crucial part of English Language Instruction. I believe that my students should not be held back because of lack of funds. They deserve to explore and learn on the same level as students who have this access. Our classroom will be forever changed by the addition of iPads. All students will be able to access learning through technology on a daily basis - amazing!
