We hope that by creating the Bristol Eastern Singers, Songwriters, and Performing Artists Club (BESSPA) we can be a place for kids who have musical talents that don’t fit the traditional band, orchestra, or choir molds. We have visions of song collaboration. We have visions of including all genres of student creativity, from folk to rap, spoken word to ukulele. With the equipment requested here, we can make these visions a reality, offer a safe place for kids to go after school to express themselves, foster an appreciation for all types of music, produce student-created albums, and perhaps inspire the next great artist to pursue their dream.
