We are requesting a rug for our classroom to use during our whole group lessons, calendar, and story time. My students need a soft and cozy carpet to invite them to learn. We spend the beginning of almost every lesson on the carpet and I would like my student's to have their own space without anyone too close to each other so they can pay attention and concentrate without distractions. Having a classroom rug with enough space will allow my students to stay focused instead of worrying where about where and who they are sitting on. My students worry about this enough in their home environment. I want them to forget about that while at school!
