These high quality interest books will continue to help my students be avid readers and enrich their reading lives. My classroom library is my students' favorite place to be, but unfortunately, it doesn't have many high interest quality books. I read to my students every day, and they also read both independently and with a partner. Reading is a big part of their day as it is also integrated into different subject areas. My students love to read and look forward to it! Having a variety of books to choose from will create a continuous love for literacy as reading sharpens their writing skills. These new books will allow my students to continue seeing reading as a way of life and not a chore. This project will allow my students to continue building a powerful reading life by expanding their vocabulary, deepening background knowledge, and growing in creativity.
