My 19 kindergartners are learning more about their world every day. Many of my students come from low-income homes and when I send home projects several of my students need to borrow any materials that they don't have at home (scissors, glue, crayons). We are a PK-8 school and are quite overcrowded, I have the smallest class in the school. The art classroom is in what used to be a storage closet, we have 1 gym that my students have never been inside, and 1 auditorium where they spend their recess watching movies if it raining, too cold or if there is snow on the ground.
