Because of the pandemic the past 18 months and so much online learning taking place, students have become restless in their seats in the regular classroom. We have moved class outside a couple of times already this year, and the kids LOVED the experience. It was just difficult to sit on the ground and complete work. This project will help that problem! With a combination of gorgeous spring and fall weather and outdoor seating with tables, we can keep these kiddos learning in a open, peaceful environment! The portable tables will allow us to pack them up and move them wherever we would like around out campus. This may be under the awning if it's raining, out in the big open field when it's a beautiful sunshiny day, or even in the hallway if we just want to work in a different space. The blankets will allow us to have a couple of different flexible seating options both outside and inside.
