Bring the math classroom alive is important. Students have been out of the classroom for too long. I want to remind them of the joy the classroom holds. Through creation of "MEDALS" students are able to use this resources for daily progress and reflections. It is my hearts' desire that all my students are successful and feel confident in their learning environment and showing content mastery. The ability to provide each student with a ("MEDAL" ) heavy duty binder we build together daily, the entire semester, containing each day of their learning progress is a HUGE step towards meeting this goal. The contents of this binder("MEDAL")will contain Daily Guided Notes/Homework, Check Ups/Quiz, Test/Test Corrections, and Unit Reviews w/Solutions each section separated by divider tabs keeping student material organized and ready for viewing/recall. "MEDALS" also serve as a current up-to-date communication tool for parents to see students progress on a daily basis, including formal and informal assessments. Students can earn punches on their reward punch card by keeping their "MEDALS" up-to-date and current (Shiny). A full card equals reward item of choice.
