All children deserve equal access to demanding, meaningful learning and intellectual achievement, including the opportunity to learn a foreign language, regardless of ethnic group, socioeconomic status or disability. This is what I hope to give my students with the help of these headsets with microphones. I have found a free foreign language program that my students can use to learn a foreign language of their choice. The problem is that I currently do not have microphones that they can use to complete one of the most essential parts of the program, actually speaking the language. I am hoping that by having headsets that have the microphone built-in will allow my students the ability to listen to the language and then repeat what they hear. Another advantage to a headset of this type is that each student can choose whatever language they desire to learn and be able to work at their own pace. These headphones will change our students' lives for the better because they will love school and feel success at an early age having fun while learning!
