Scholastic News is a great magazine for students. It is kid friendly, easy to read, colorful, and gives current information. Students love to read and look at the pictures. They are always excited when it is time to do an activity from Scholastic News. The best part of Scholastic News is the technology aspect. During the lesson, the class can find more information about what they are learning about online. Scholastic News also provides short videos when we are learning about a new place. This helps the students relate to what is being taught. When the lesson is done students take the magazine home to share with their parents. This makes it a nice school and home connection.
