This selection of supplies will provide the students in the autistic class with materials that I have found they use daily, such as the markers, glue and paper. In our class the students write and illustrate twice a day. They prefer to use markers. Giving them markers helps them to control the writing utensil easier and they provide me with more information on what they are communicating in their drawings and writing. In this order there is also a cutting machine that we will use to support our school wide autism awareness project in creating crafts that demonstrate new skills. April is Autism Awareness month and we would like to display throughout our school project that we have worked on since the beginning of the year. The cutting machine will allow use to use many differ types of materials that can be cut to produce designs to be used to make wonderful crafts for our display as well as to take home and display to their families.
