Reading is an important, daily activity in our classroom. Students read books by themselves, with a partner, and some have access to reading books online. Many of my students struggle with reading and, therefore, have little desire to read. By donating to our project, you will be contributing to students having increased engagement and motivation in reading, thus improving their reading achievement! Students will use these tablets in small group settings with peers at a similar level to them. The groups will read books together and work collaboratively to solve words and think critically about the books they are reading together.
