This project is my first step towards building a classroom library full of highly engaging and accessible texts for my students to access during their independent reading time in class and also, to borrow so that they can read outside of class. This project will put books right at their fingertips! I have selected titles that past students have enjoyed and recommended in hopes of sparking a love of reading in my future students. For my students, the benefits of reading are immeasurable. I am about to enter my tenth year in education, but this will only be my second year with my own classroom to house a library of diverse, young adult literature. This project will be the foundation of what I hope will become an extensive classroom library!
