Our class is in need of an iPad in the classroom to be able to utilize educational apps. Among other uses, students will be able to use the iPad to organize our classroom library, so that as part of their classroom jobs, my librarians can keep track of the books that flow in and out of the library. This gives them real-world technology application to improve their human capital as a student mimicking someone in the workforce. Not only can they use the iPad to organize the library, but students can also use the iPad for educational apps, as well as taking pictures as artifacts of our learning. I would be so grateful for my class to benefit from a piece of technology so useful as an iPad! We also need a heavy duty case to protect our iPad.
