The Scholastic News subscription will help my students understand current events in a kid friendly way. Also, my students use whiteboards virtually every day to show their thinking, especially during math lessons. They love to use the whiteboards because they are able to edit their work easily and work with partners when needed. The whiteboards are an invaluable tool in my classroom because they help keep my students motivated to learn. By providing my students with new whiteboards, you will be helping them to use 21st century skills--communication, creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking, as well as increasing their motivation to learn.
