My scholars need (10) calculators to help them learn 7th grade math concepts. The End of Grade Assessment requires that my students know how to use an advanced calculator to solve complex math problems. Their parents can't afford to buy them and our school doesn't provide them. All of my students have learning disabilities and are constantly delayed with completing assignments because they do not have the proper materials to accommodate their needs. I have a few weeks before the end of the quarter and I've been teaching them from cell phones and other devices which aren't frequently accessible. They need to have an opportunity to pass the assessments like other students in General Education classes.
