Students who have a lot of energy are constantly getting up and distracting others as they released some of this energy. But when these students had the opportunity to sit on the Wobble chair, they were able to move their body (wobble side to side) while they read or worked on a project. During the two weeks that our OT gave us a peek at the benefit of having these alternative chairs, my students loved them! I also noticed that the Wobble chairs were a great alternative to the traditional hard and stiff chairs that we currently have. Your donation will allow us to buy up to ten wobble chairs; that's one chair per every two students in my classroom. This ratio will increase their opportunity to use up energy in a positive way, as they work through the academic challenges that require them to sit and focus for hours at a time.
