My students need an opportunity to express themselves through arts and creativity. Allowing them to choose their outlet and keep their self made masterpieces to share with others will help them encourage language and help build confidence with the success of completion. I often see students creating with minimal materials and show their pride in their accomplishments. I feel that providing them with a broader range of materials and time will allow them to be more creative, give them more opportunity to develop ideas with no boundaries and endless ideas. My students need a variety of art materials such as those in the art colossal box kits to be able to choose from a different variety of materials to create. They need a different array of beads to create and share with. The different kits, such as the dream catchers and mosaics will allow them to create using directions and in turn allow them to complete projects completely and correctly. The result, making these projects a true independent work of art!
