Deaf and hard of hearing kids are the same as any other and thrive with the need of learning. Which also includes the need for learning how to save a life with the proper equipment. With these unique light indicating manikins my students will visually see if they are performing the correct CPR techniques. These light indicating manikins will give them an idea and a feeling of how deep the compressions should be when preforming CPR vs. someone just telling them if they are doing it right or wrong. This will provide them with confidence to perform CPR out in the community if ever needed as well as to meet their high school graduating requirements .
