Our students love to play soccer outside during PE and recess. Soccer is very big in our community. All that changed when Hurricane Harvey hit our town of Port Lavaca, TX. Our town was evacuated and we were kept out for three weeks while power and water were being restored. Upon returning to school we realized that the wind from the storm had destroyed the two soccer goals that the students played with every day. Getting two new goals would make our children super happy to play soccer again and actually have goals to kick into and defend. They have been begging me to get some new ones but our budget is extremely tight.

About my class
