I teach fourth grade in a high needs school in urban New York. Most of the students at my school receive free or reduced lunch. My students are energetic and talented. They love playing games, especially outside, but they are rarely given an opportunity to do so. Over half of the students in my class have special needs. They are a loving, kind, eager, curious group of students that will have a positive impact on our future. They are artists, inventors, scientists, mathematicians, writers, musicians, and agents of change. They are hungry for learning, and bring great joy to the lives of anyone who interacts with them. A fantastic, beautiful, amazing group of children.

About my class
