Technology is a huge part of student learning especially when it comes to interaction. I started this year in a new classroom. It was equipped with a projector, but no laptop. I was told there weren't any funds to buy a laptop for the classroom so I willingly brought in my personal laptop to provide technological advancements to my students. Unfortunately, my laptop stopped working. My students are suffering without access to our curriculum. A laptop is what pulls everything together and makes our projector usable. In addition to curriculum, my students look forward to positive behavior rewards, brainbreaks, and our daily schedule/ question of the day being posted. Right now, our classroom is not very innovative in this 21st century, technological world. A laptop can bring that light back into our classroom.
