The students involved in our theater program are dedicated and excited to learn about performing. One of the things that really help them get in character is when they finally get to wear their costumes and use their props. Over the years our theater program has collected many great costumes, however, the storage for them is less than ideal. They are stored in an attic that is not accessible by the teachers and therefore each year we are unable to take advantage of the materials we have available to us. Locking storage cabinets for garments and props would help us utilize our resources and provide our students with what they need to look and feel like their character while keeping all of our materials safe.
