I am a first-year special education teacher. My 6th grade students and I are a family, and our classroom community is our home. I want to provide my students with an engaging classroom library that caters to each of my students and their diverse reading levels. Most of the books on my list are books they've suggested. These books will be used for independent reading time both in and out of the classroom. My goal is to build a library of dozens of books including novels, picture books, and graphic novels. Books across grade-level and genre will help encourage 2+ years of reading growth this year for my students.
